We all know their cover bands are awesome, but, until I took a recent trip, I had no idea Filipinos fell so hard for esoteric Brooklyn indie acts. This picture captures stacks of CDs by home-borough faves Crystal Stilts and the Pains of Being Pure At Heart as featured prominently at a chain store in the center of a Manila Mall.
