Artist Robyn Twomey found out at a Playboy Bunny reunion in Las Vegas, where she photographed several of the women. The portraits are tightly framed and haven’t been digitally retouched. To celebrate the launch of iPlayboy for iPad, NYC gallery Partners & Spade is hosting an exhibition of pieces from the Playboy Archives, curated by a throng of notable appreciators, through the end of the month. Aside from period-specific aesthetic of its centerfolds, they’ve dug up a cut-up “hang-up” by Keith Haring from 1986.
