This week brought RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 5′s most emotionally charged moment yet when, during Untucked, Alyssa’s father finally admitted to being proud of her. Meanwhile, the main challenge had the queens recording a charity single together in the spirit of U.S.A. for Africa, complete with ’80s drag, to impress guest judges La Toya Jackson and The Pointer Sisters — which proved difficult for the less in-tune queens. Even casual fans of Drag Race are tempted to tune in for the “Snatch Game” episodes, in which the ladies must impersonate a celebrity of their choosing and successfully improv enough jokes to keep the audience gagging for more. For the comedy queens, this challenge is a cinch. But most competitors give us nothing but an endless stream of flat jokes and inaccurate portrayals, making them that much closer to sashaying away. Although two components of our must-see television trifecta — True Blood and Mad Men — are currently on the air, there’s still one series that we’re missing: Dexter.
