Due out early next month, Full Bleed: New York City Skateboard Photography, a book assembled by Alex Corporan, Andre Razo and Ivory Serra, spans over 30 years of skate culture in NYC, with contributions from over 40 photographers. Part retrospective, part homage, it features such noted skateboarders such as Steve Olson, Eric Koston, Keith Hufnagel, Harold Hunter, Jerry Hsu, Mike Vallely, Mark Gonzales, Rick Howard, and Jason Dill. Artist Mark Gonzales Rides 9 Skateboards at Once

Skateboarding god and artist Mark Gonzales created a “Circle Board” out of nine skateboards for his current exhibit, Round n’ Round, at New York’s Franklin Parrasch Gallery (up through 11/28). Our friends at Animal NY pointed us to William Strobeck’s jazzy footage of skater Anthony Pappalardo trying the contraption out. Gonzales appears at the end of the video to smoke a ciggy and show us how it’s really done.
