We spotted this handy little list thanks to a blogger called Firmuhment who engages in creative dialogue with internet readers by writing, drawing, and scanning thoughts into a Tumblr account. It also has some of the hugest image dimensions we’ve ever seen on a weblog. In this particular installment, he/she/it breaks down his/her/its RSS feed into bite-size morsels. Any guesses what meal Hipster Runoff would be?
Our buddies at Urlesque recently ran an interesting piece highlighting those blogs that have been picked up by publishers. One of our favorites on their list: This is Why You’re Fat by Jessica Amason and Richard Blakeley. One that we’re predicting you’ll see next time around — even if writing this makes us uncomfortable — is the recently-launched Dads in Short Shorts. Sure, not all short shorts are creepy, but there’s a good reason short shorts became passe. The possibility that a testicle could fall out is too close to fruition. And when said testicle is attached to a dad… well, let’s just say it’s pretty creepy. And hilarious — which just so happens to be one of the essential elements for scoring a quick book deal.
