Flickr Found Photo Fridays: Comic-Con 2010

Superheroes have always been around, whether it be Achilles in the ancient world, King Arthur in the Medieval period, or Superman in the modern era. And acolytes never neglected to celebrate them, either. Throughout history various institutions have been set up to honor those with extraordinary strengths and powers, such as Mystery cults, Gothic cathedrals, and now, the comic convention. Since the tradition of superhero worship continues with this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, we decided to type in the words “comic con” for this week’s installment of Flickr Found Photo Fridays. The following pictures are what popped up.
