Today at Flavorpill, we wanted to know when Courtney Love started dressing like Queen Elizabeth. We said farewell to Shepard Fairey’s May Day mural. We felt rather inspired by this list of the greatest accidental inventions of all time. We wanted to make it rich like these people did on YouTube. We wondered if it’s too late to have a summer fling — just like in the movies. We learned how not to write a DJ bio. We discovered that men who hate vegetables die earlier in New York City. We watched Wavves’ new video for “Post Acid” — complete with a cameo by John Norris. We wanted to buy the print version of David Schwen’s illustration of a woodchuck wearing Chucks. We made a modest donation to 826NYC that will hopefully help get pencils into the hands of the next generation of writers. And finally, we were glad that someone finally picked up on how annoyingly inscrutable the Mad Men promos are —and decided to parody it!
