This Friday night marks the second installment of Fashion’s Night Out, and among the slew of fun events taking place across the city, Nicolas Ghesquière, creative director of Balenciaga, will be making a rare US appearance at the brand’s flagship store in the Meatpacking District. Why? He’s hosting the stateside debut of Cindy Sherman: Untitled (Balenciaga), a six-image series of self portraits featuring the performance artist dressed as different characters — who are all decked out in head-to-toe Balenciaga, naturally.
