Today at Flavorpill, we learned where the phrase “spilling the beans” comes from. We decided that Disney should never try to be cool. We wanted to visit Tokyo after watching this cool time-lapse video. We questioned the use of product placement in some of our favorite classic novels. We virtually toured Brangelina’s ridiculous Italian mansion. We wished that someone would plant a money tree here in New York. We wondered when MTV is going to learn that they do trashy reality TV way better than live “topical” programming. We wanted to play with these crazy plush toys — particularly the depressed turtle. And finally, we were surprised that Snooki hangs around playgrounds in her spare time. What? You thought we were going to make a crack about the fact that she can read?
