Paint Sound Sculptures, Dentsu London’s new ad campaign for the Canon Pixma, is a series of lava lamp-looking “paint sculptures” made using sound vibrations. “Visually this film is sound sculptures created from paint using sound frequencies to organically design these formations, these sculptures,” explains Chris Hewitt, who directed the spot. “Because we’re shooting in macro at such high speed, these sculptures become something else — something that we’ve never really seen before.” Click through to check out more stills, a behind-the-scenes clip, and the mesmerizing short.
