Joel Johnson of Gizmodo recently traveled to Shenzhen, China, while working on a feature for Wired. There, he visited Foxconn’s factory, where many gadgets and computers for the world’s largest brands are made. He also got to check out the facility’s campus, which houses dorm rooms where most of its workers live. Above, a room about the size of a two-car garage that sleeps eight.
