Hyperrealistic Paintings That Look Like Double Exposed Photos

As anyone who has ever been on a field trip knows, you can double expose (basically overlay) multiple photos on a disposable camera by charging the flash and then smacking the base of the camera on your palm without winding to the next frame. The talented San Francisco-based artist Pakayla Rae Biehn uses this same concept as inspiration for her oil paintings (yes, these are paintings). You can see her work at the Thinkspace Gallery in Los Angeles through the end of December as part of an exhibit called New Realism. Check out more after the cut.
