For an upcoming story on the demise of console gaming, Fortune asked photographer Dan Saelinger to shoot slow motion stills and video of exploding Xbox 360 consoles and controllers. As a result, 10 Xbox 360s and eight controllers were blown to smithereens at a pyrotechnics studio in Brooklyn. Watch a behind-the-scenes video of the process after the jump.
