Morrissey – “I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris” Sure, fans would line up to watch the former Smiths’ front-man shovel coal, but we still rejoiced when they heard this majestic ode, an epic at a mere 2:30. Appleseed Cast – “Raise the Sails” After jumping ship into stormy waters of delay and reverb, the last three minutes of this tune, from the post-rock poster-band’s new Sagarmatha, is a hopeful, acoustic-guitar driven effort to right the ship.
