Some (possibly) disappointing news: PopEater reports that Snooki has been banned from the Times Square area on New Year’s Eve thanks to her proposed human hamster ball drop. Although it’s not entirely clear who is behind the ban or why it’s happening now instead of weeks ago when her ridiculous plan made headlines. According to their “inside” source: “No way would they allow this to take place. MTV rents a position in the Square that night like every other media outlet. You can’t get access to the Square without an official credential. You have to play by the official rules or you get kicked out, which is exactly what has happened to MTV and Snooki.” Guess this means that we’ll be watching Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper, and waiting for those accidental f-bombs to drop instead…
