Hipsters on the High Seas: Greetings From the Bruise Cruise

February 25, 400 indie rock fans boarded the Carnival Imagination in Miami for the inaugural Bruise Cruise Festival. Activities during the three-day cruise included concerts by the Black Lips, Vivian Girls, Thee Oh Sees, The Strange Boys, Surfer Blood, Turbo Fruits, Jacuzzi Boys, Quintron and Miss Pussycat, a puppet show, a dance contest, a concert on the island of Nassau, fine dining, gambling, a slideshow presentation by Cruise Director Ian Svenonius, and all of the soft serve ice cream that you cared to eat.
