Last year photographer Wyatt Gallery traveled to Haiti to document the tent cities that cropped up in the wake of January’s catastrophic earthquake and are now home to some 1.5 million people. The more than 70 images that he captured — which are on view at Brooklyn’s Umbrage Gallery through the end of this month — will also be released as Tent Life: Haiti by Umbrage Editions in April, with all royalties from the book going towards Healing Haiti, among other charities.
