You could guess for years, but you probably still wouldn’t come up with the act concert info site SongKick has crowned the “hardest-working band of 2010.” Meet Tallahassee alt-rockers Mayday Parade, who did 194 tour dates and logged 71k miles of travel. While we’re more familiar with #2-4 (Caribou, Surfer Blood, and Two Door Cinema Club), some of the other names on the list — Skillet? Every Avenue? Breathe Carolina? — don’t ring a bell, either. But hey, check out 77-year-old Willie Nelson, edging out Lady Gaga for the #6 spot. As for the band that traveled the farthest in 2010, that honor goes to those worldly gents Vampire Weekend. Most of those bands suck ass.
I only recognize Skillet (fairly popular and pretty good Christian rock band), Gaga, B.O.B., and like 5 others on the list. It’s quite interesting that’s for sure.
