We have to admit that, while a few shows sound intriguing, we have yet to be super-psyched about any of the new fall series the networks have been unveiling this week — until now. We were cautiously optimistic when we first heard about 2 Broke Girls, a sitcom about a working-class girl (Kat Dennings) and a fallen heiress (Beth Behrs) who become roommates and work together in a Brooklyn restaurant. There were some potential pitfalls, namely a network like CBS — which is known for its older audience — trying hard to be cool. But this initial glimpse at the Whitney Cummings-produced show is decidedly promising. Dennings is delightful, as usual. We especially enjoy her mouthy retort to an entitled hipster in the first few seconds of the clip. Check out the preview after the jump and let us know whether you’ll be watching.
