Sigh. According to CNN, P. Diddy has declared that he will now forever more (for a week) be known as ‘Swag,’ a slang term that we thought meant free stuff that you get from PR events or on fancy airlines, or possibly ‘swagger’, but apparently also just means ‘cool.’ In a video he released announcing his name change, um, Swag says, “I’ve gone as Puff, Puffy, Puff Daddy, P. Diddy, Diddy, King Combs – my real name is Sean Combs – and for a week, this week only, you can call me by my new name, Swag.” In case you were wondering whether this is just a publicity stunt, the name change is in honor of his comeback… from the flu.
