Flavorpill's Picks From the Sketchbook Project: 2011

Share:

Every year, Brooklyn-based Art House Co-op sends out thousands of blank sketchbooks all over the world to be filled by professional artists and cathartic doodlers. The Sketchbook Project: 2011 received 10,000 books back this year. The traveling exhibition of sketchbooks is now a nationwide tour now but you can view hundreds of them on the freshly launched library preview, with more sketchbooks being added each day. We’ve had a lot of fun flipping through the illustrated diaries, intricate logs of birds and birch tree bark, environmentalist collages and graphic novellas. Check out a few of our favorites… so far.
