What’s On at Flavorpill: The Links That Made the Rounds in Our Office

Today at Flavorpill, we jotted down a few of The Huffington Post’s summer reading suggestions. We were surprised by how much this “screaming” tree looked like the famous Munch painting. We felt like The Awl’s ranking of bar food really gave nachos the shaft. We discovered The Talks, a new online magazine that’s devoted to running interviews with the likes of Patti Smith and Valentino. We decided that the shot with Eric was definitely out favorite of Entertainment Weekly‘s three True Blood covers. We watched a literal drug commercial by the Wilmington, NC based live theatre troupe Pineapple-Shaped Lamps. We were impressed by the effort the employees at Legoland California put into pranking their boss. We watched a trailer for the new season of The Big C, which starts this Monday. We liked Mark Noad’s new version of the London Underground map. And finally, we felt guilty for wanting to take a bite out of this Darth Vader popsicle. Do you think that counts as going over to the dark side?
