If you’re like us, you’ve been over at NPR pretty much nonstop for the last week, listening to their stream of Rave On Buddy Holly before it officially drops. We did, however, have time to stumble across this gem over at BoingBoing: a full cut of 12-year-old Buddy Holly’s first ever recording, ‘My Two Timin’ Woman,’ captured on a wire recorder. At first it’s strange to hear Holly’s pre-pubescent voice, but pretty soon you’ll hear that familiar plaintive croon shine through.
