Today at Flavorpill, we enjoyed the fact that Lady Gaga’s yoga mat was perfectly coordinated with her totally-inappropriate-for-yoga ensemble. We liked the idea of Tumblr as a bottle of red, but were less convinced that Gmail is the equivalent of caffeine pills. We watched nine minutes of the new ThunderCats series. We were surprised by some of the weird things that people say in bookstores. We found this photo of the original MTV VJs totally frightening. We had a hard time deciding which failed utopia was our favorite. We were impressed by an interactive piece of street art in Berlin that turns your smartphone into a cassette tape. We loved this story about a crested black macaque who snapped a rather flattering portrait of himself with an unattended camera. And finally, we took a time-lapse tour of Chicago’s canals, complete with a fireworks finale.
