Most of us spend hours every day staring at the TV. But what if your television set could stare right back you? That’s the conceit of Estonian photographer Andris Feldmanis’s clever photo series, TV Portraits. The images capture individuals, couples, and families as they look when they’re watching their favorite show — curled up in a favorite chair, snuggling on a bed that fills most of the room. What makes these photos captivating is that they find their subjects in unguarded moments, when they’re watching with no awareness of being watched themselves. See a selection of our favorite pictures from the series after the jump, then click over to Feldmanis’s website for more.
