Metal fans are a special breed. That much we knew already. Even so, we couldn’t help but be impressed by this periodic table of metal, an exhaustively compiled chart that carefully sorts 303 bands into 30 categories and sub-categories, including ones we’ve never heard of (who knew “non black metal” was its own genre?). The table — arranged in the shape of devil horns, of course — was put together by Brooklyn design studio Pop Chart Lab, who are selling it as a limited edition wall print for $20.
