So, this is odd. RumorFix (which, despite its name, actually confirmed the story with a representative for the show) reports that Heidi Klum won’t host the next season of Project Runway. Although she appears on Season 9, which is currently airing, Project Runway All-Stars has been shooting in New York without her. “There will be a new host and there will be new judges, which we will release later,” said the rep, who also stressed that Heidi is not leaving the show. Apparently, the dispute came down to executive producer Klum’s salary demands. To be fair, it’s not unheard of for reality TV hosts and judges to bow out of spin-offs — although Tom Colicchio and Padma Lakshmi helmed Top Chef: All-Stars, they haven’t participated in either the Masters or Just Desserts incarnations of the show. That said, if the dispute is over how much Klum wants to be paid, then it’s hard to see how skipping one season will resolve it. [via Jezebel]
