The folks over at Colossal clued us into these new works by São Paulo based artist and architect Lucas Simões. Each of these geometric, disjointed portraits is created from ten layers of photographs cut and arranged to form a style we have never quite seen before. Simões’ architectural training is evident, as the collages seem conspicuously built from the ground up, meticulously formed and organized in an almost mathematical way. Click through to see some of his new work, and check out his Flickr page for even more projects.
