What’s on at Flavorpill: Links That Made the Rounds in Our Office

Today at Flavorpill, we felt bad for Patrick Swayze; nothing’s worse than becoming a hot search term on Twitter because people think you’re dead. We had no sympathy for Jessica Biel. Without resorting to snark: Grace Kelly. Meryl Streep. Marilyn Monroe. Being hot is not the reason you don’t get choice parts. We finally got our OLD-MAN BABY!!! Thank you Judd Apatow. We’re sorry for ever doubting you. We wished that Cougar Town, the new Courteney Cox show that’s not Friends could be replaced by Dirt, the old Courteney Cox show that’s not Friends. We couldn’t believe that “Miracle on the Hudson” passengers are getting their own memoir. Or at least 100 of them are. We were grateful to our friends at The Rumpus for explaining the Keyboard Cat phenomenon. And finally, we enjoyed this post over on /Film about the most hated uses of CGI in movie history. We’d like to nominate Peter Jackson’s King Kong — specifically that scene where Kong’s ice skating in Central Park. What are yours?
