If you grew up staring at the night sky, obsessed with things space-related (we blame E.T., Flight of the Navigator, and ALF), then you’re going to fall in love with the minimalist posters in Beyond Earth, a personal project by Montreal-based graphic designer Stephen Di Donato. “After recently finding old science fiction magazines dating back from the 1980s, it reignited my childhood memories of my curiosity of our solar system and of limitless imagination,” he explains. “I began researching heavily on NASA missions and came to the realization that the late 1950s to mid-1970s were exciting times for new discoveries, for real photographic images of planets and for limitless possibilities.” Click through to check out the resulting poster series, which more than doubled its goal on Kickstarter last month, and let us know in the comments which one is your favorite.
