MusicSunggies Weezer Wuggie
The “Wuggie is Basically Like a Snuggie, Except it Says Weezer On It”
2:43 pm Tuesday May 26, 2009 by Wolcott Katzenbach

As if the world couldn’t get any weirder, Snuggie, the beloved blanket with sleeves, has created a Weezer-inspired outfit lovingly dubbed the Wuggie. Not one to shy away from a tried-and-true formula, lead singer Rivers Cuomo explains that the “Wuggie is basically like a Snuggie, except it says Weezer on it.” For anybody worrying about the authenticity of this collaboration, Cuomo reassures it’s “a totally legit Snuggie.” So whether you’re still a fan of Weezer and seeking new ways to express your devotion to a band whose every action seeks to redefine what it means to be over-the-hill, or simply a Snuggie aficionado bored with the limited customization, keep your bleary eyes peeled for the Wuggie (wish we had thought of this when we were selecting creative ways to sell out). Sure, this one is good, but, after the jump, check out the greatest Weezer commercial tie-in ever.
