YouTube user BD594 remixed the classic Animals’ song “The House of the Rising Sun” with a few pieces of vintage computer equipment. Interestingly shot, the video shows how an old Atari 800XL, EiCO Oscilloscope, a Texas instrument Ti-99/4A with a Tektronix Oscilloscope, a hard drive powered by a microcontroller, an HP Scanjet 3P, and more formed their own band. While BD594 isn’t the first person to do something like this, the song is an impressive cover that’s far more layered than some computer remixes floating around.
