Were you one of the people who didn’t get into the Decemberists show at Radio City Music Hall last night? Then we’ve got something to ease the pain: Our friends over at WNYC Radio have graciously offered to let us livestream the band’s 2 p.m. Soundcheck show at The Greene Space, which sold out in under 10 minutes.
The band will perform songs from The Hazards of Love and chat with Soundcheck host John Schaefer about the concept album. Filmmaker Rik Cordero and Idolator’s Maura Johnston will also be on hand to debate the state of music videos.
So settle in, make sure your headphones are plugged in, and enjoy some good music. Just don’t let your boss catch on.
