Doctor Who is one of those rare TV series that has managed to stay alive for decades thanks to a small, but devoted fan base. That said, there are plenty of people out there who have no idea what a Time Lord is, who don’t know the first thing about the TARDIS, and who have never actually seen an entire episode. Younger Whovians who aren’t as familiar with the earlier incarnations of the show will find it pretty interesting too; it turns out good old William Hartnell (the 1st Doctor) really gives Matt Smith (the current and 11th Doctor) a run for his money.
