Beautiful Hand-Carved 78-RPM Records

“What do you do when you have a whole heap of scratched up 78’s?” asks Australian artist Scott Marr. “You carve in new information, and hope that the people understand.” And that is exactly what the pyrographer has done with a set of collectors’ beloved early-20th-century records. Adding intricate designs inspired by anatomy, the elements, and the concept of time, Marr transforms unusable relics into small works of art.
