Photographer and art director Bjoern Ewers satisfies our curiosity with a series of ads for the Berlin Philharmonic that represent these spaces on a grand scale — the hollow chambers of string instruments become spacious, wood-beamed rooms, with light shining in through the F-holes, and the center of a flute looks just like an abstract metal sculpture.
