As our own Judy Berman pointed out earlier in the week, there’s a chance that many of you have your fingers crossed that when Mad Men returns on Sunday night, we won’t be greeted by Don Draper, super happy newlywed. Because what would be the fun in that? Sure, it was kind of painful seeing our beloved antihero go through some of his most miserable moments to date in Season 4, but it was also nice to see him looking kind of vulnerable for once. And you know what else we enjoyed? Watching him drunkenly make his way through half of the women in Manhattan. OK, so maybe not half, but Don definitely saw his fair share of action last season, and his behavior wasn’t exactly what you’d expect from someone who ended up getting engaged.
