See the Louvre Palace empty. See all the traffic of Beijing roads disappear. See Times Square abandoned completely, except for one solitary soul standing still with a plastic bag. We’ve got your post-apocalyptic fantasies right here! Artists Lucie & Simon have created this series using a neutral density filter, used by NASA to analyze stars. The self-taught Paris-based duo has created these shots with extremely long exposure, turning the world’s most iconic and populated areas into unsettling and lonesome landscapes, leaving just one or two people in the frame to wander. Spotted by PetaPixel, here are some cinematic snippets of Lucie & Simon’s Silent World.
