People have shared the first image of Hitchcock star Anthony Hopkins as the legendary director with the famously rotund profile — and it’s impressive. The film — formerly known as Alfred Hitchock and the Making of Psycho (and thank goodness they changed that title) — chronicles the making of the classic horror movie that starred Anthony Perkins as a sexually repressed lunatic with serious mommy issues. The road to making the movie wasn’t an easy one, and Sacha Gervasi’s film hopes to shed some light on Hitch’s trials. Hitchcock features a star-studded cast including Helen Mirren and Scarlett Johansson. Website A’int It Cool pointed out that the image bears some resemblance to Don Rickles (weird, right?), but we’re giving it the stamp of approval regardless. With Hopkins’ talent behind the transformation, we have faith it will all turn out ok. Tell us if you approve of the photo in the comments section.
