Dear readers, as you may know, it’s finals season. So, naturally, the students among us have been cooped up in the library, sending unsolicited emoticon songs to our easily entertained friends. We began by mindlessly inserting the tiny images amongst lyrics where we saw fit, much like our beloved Aziz Ansari’s Emoji app cover of Kanye’s and Jay-Z’s “Niggas in Paris,” but soon moved onto bigger, weirder things — guessing games, in which the song at hand must be represented entirely by emoticons. Needless to say, the results were pretty ridiculous. Play along with our silly time-waster after the jump, then feel free to text our covers to your easily amused and/or annoyed friends.
