Fox’s New Girl has company on Tuesday nights, with Mindy Kaling’s upcoming comedy, The Mindy Project. The Office star plays a hilariously imperfect doctor who spends time navigating her tricky personal and professional life, while pursuing dreams of a happily ever after. You’ve heard this before, we know, but we’re interested in seeing how Kaling fares with her own series — even though we’ll miss her as The Office’s insecure narcissist. Guest stars Ed Helms and Bill Hader will be popping up as love interests (present and former), and they appear in the clip past the break where Mindy makes an awkward speech to her ex beau (Hader).
