Late last year we posted an amazing video that re-cut all two-and-a-half hours of Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, putting the scenes in their correct chronological order. For those of you who didn’t have the time or patience to check out that version, design student Noah Daniel Smith has created a lovely flowchart cheat sheet that kicks off with Captain Koons giving young Butch his dad’s gold watch and ends with adult Butch picking Fabienne up on Zed’s chopper. Looking at the complicated narrative structure all unraveled and laid out in diagram form really makes you really appreciate the work of Sally Menke, the film’s editor, and Tarantino’s longtime collaborator. Update: Smith has created a Kickstarter page to purchase his work as a 24″ X 36″ poster. Check that out here.
