We learned that you probably shouldn’t hit on the model who’s sitting next to you on a plane if don’t want your wife reading a recap of the entire awkward exchange on Twitter. We decided that our next London vacation will include a day trip to the Downton Abbey castle. We were extremely excited about these Girls paper dolls created by Vulture’s Kyle Hilton. We were blown away by these photos of the Transit of Venus — a rare, astronomical event that won’t happen again until 2117. We watched Kanye’s surprisingly understated new video for “Mercy.” We wished that Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan would invite us to stay over at their insanely fabulous beach house. And finally, we debated which of these grilled cheese sandwiches we’re making for dinner tonight — it’s a tossup between the Dark Chocolate and Parmesan Grilled Cheese Sandwich and the Flatiron. Both have their merits.
