We’ll be the first to admit that multiple-exposure photographs can feel a bit gimmicky. But lately it seems like there’s an abundance of excellent examples using the technique floating around. Take the work of Christoffer Relander, a self-taught photographer from Finland spotted by Colossal who shoots haunting black and white portraits of people and animals that are intermixed with natural landscapes.
