Today at Flavorpill, we said happy birthday to Prince William. We remembered Arsenio Hall’s best television moments. We listened to a Dutch choir cover Skrillex’s “Bangarang” a cappella style. We got the scoop on the David Lynch Dom Pérignon party. We occupied ourselves during today’s Twitter blackout. Kind of. We learned how authors can promote their books with a free app. We hoped Lewis Carroll’s Alice wouldn’t get lost now that she has her own transit map. We looked up at the best tall buildings in the world for 2012. We read a few cases for and against “having it all.” We hoped Sweden was ready for Stephen Colbert to take over its Twitter. We went roller skating on Venice Beach in 1979. And finally, we felt like we were in school all over again looking at these friendship bracelets for social media websites. Then we shunned our peers wearing the Myspace bracelets for obvious reasons.
