We don’t know about you, but there’s nothing like some fine art with a geeky pop culture twist to make us smile at the beginning of the week. Last year, we swooned over artist Megan Lara‘s geeky-cool art nouveau-inspired posters of the men of Firefly, and now i09 has brought a new series of her work to our attention: your favorite Battlestar Galactica heroines (and anti-heroines) as they might have been painted if Klimt, Bouguereau, and Lichtenstein had had the good fortune to be around to capture their portraits. Click through to see fine art and fine television mashed together, and then be sure to head over to Lara’s website to check out more of her work. And if you must have one of these prints for your very own, poster versions (minus the Lichtenstein, which will be sold separately) are currently available to preorder as a set from Quantum Mechanix. So say we all.
