Today at Flavorpill, we found out what our burlesque name was. We were glad “goat man” doesn’t really exist. We met our hipster dream date and visited the Hipster Olympics in Berlin. We used Selena Gomez’s 20th birthday to predict her entire career arc. We saw the filming locations of Annie Hall then and now. We watched Boy George cover Lana Del Rey. We wondered if crows are smarter than us and cringed when we read that “they are basically flying monkeys.” We wanted to attend the Philip K. Dick Festival at San Francisco State University, with guest of honor Jonathan Lethem. We enjoyed Miles Davis’ opinionated, blind audio screening from 1964. We checked out Martin Scorsese’s new iPhone ad. And finally, we thought this Super Mario Bros. wedding ring set was pretty cute. Better yet, it was nice to read about a woman proposing to a man for a change.
