French illustrator Ugo Gattoni is known for his gorgeous, intricate drawings, but his new, 5-meter long illustration Bicycle, which is inspired by the 2012 London Olympic Games and depicts a wild, surreal race through the streets of London, may be his most beautiful and intimate work yet. Indeed, he captures the hectic joy of the streets, “from elite athletes to cycle couriers, commuters, bankers, delivery boys, mums with kids, youths on stolen mountain bikes to fashionistas and hipsters on fixed gear bikes.” Click through to see a few images and watch Gattoni work, and then be sure to head over to his website to see even more, or pick up a copy of the drawing yourself over at Nobrow.
