Today at Flavorpill, we watched a hilarious supercut of rock stars saying dumb things in interviews. We watched a personal video about the Mars landing made by someone who worked on Curiosity. We learned about 23 unexpected things that turn people on and revisited Helen Gurley Brown’s advice from Sex and the Single Girl. We went shopping with the guy who took Shoshanna’s virginity on Girls. We were shocked — shocked! — to find out that David Simon is not a Mitt Romney fan. We listened to a new single by Pussy Riot, three of whose members were just sentenced to two years in jail. We were relieved to hear that ABC Family has renewed Bunheads (and less excited about Melissa & Joey). We enjoyed this excellent history of bands telling off Republicans who used their music. And finally, we were rendered speechless by the awesomeness of Kanye West’s dancers.
