Bela Borsodi’s Unlikely Alphabet of Everyday Objects

We’ve been a bit alphabet obsessed at Flavorpill as of late, but for good reason. First we came across Rachel Young’s New York state alphabet which she created using Google Maps, an intrepid eye, and an insane amount of patience. Then artist Mark Andrew Webber’s handcarved typographical map of Paris caught our eye. But this latest, courtesy of Austrian stylist/photographer Bela Borsodi for Wad Magazine‘s “Dictionary” issue takes the cake, don’t you think?

I love the alphabet. Could this be the beginning of a Flavorpill side-blog about letters?

wow, those are completely amazing. it's incredible how intricate they are once you start looking

This is the first one of these alphabet thingies to incorporate serifs! On some of the letters anyway.
